Wow, talking about Rock and Stone!
Wow, talking about Rock and Stone!
What a high effort post. Enjoyed my read!
Gravity Circuit! This game captures the feel of Mega man Zero really well.
I recommend starting in hard mode since normal mode can easily be pushed through with upgrades.
Agreed, sometimes I even wish there is a “Deck Lite” model.
One of the laziest way that I use on all my game is to bind them to joystick presses(really can’t hold joysticks down while twisting it all over).
Two on the left goes to left joystick, two on the right goes to the right joystick.(Yes I bind two at a time since I find pressing them individually is hard when panicking.)
I really like how the deck is currently, it is certainly one of the most comfey (both software experience and physically).
But the urge to cram in ridiculous amount of performance is so hard to resist. (Already wanted to overclock mine to hell.)
Man my backlog got so big these days, not even a steam deck can finish it anytime soon.
I think I will slow down and enjoy games that I already own instead, like back in the simplier time. (Took me months to finish SMG2, but I loved every bit of it)
Hell yeah! Both DLC are so cheap on GOG during black Friday .
You’re in for a treat! They just released boss rush too!
Nice! Heat up the handheld war and give us innovative design and more choice.
This is giving me Wii vibes. That thin dock design really remind me of it.
Witcher 3, Just finished the main story. And boy, CDPR really nailed the story/ character writing in this game. Looking to grab “Hearts of stone” & “Blood and Wind” DLC next GOG sale.
What an amazing 50hr time sink!
Nine Sols!
Who would’ve guessed a hand drawn 2D side scroller runs amazingly at 90Hz. That sound of parrying attacks coming out of deck’s speaker is just so satisfying.
Elden Ring & Resident Evil 6!
Elden Ring: Man this game is so long but fun. I just can’t help myself playing this game everywhere. Somehow getting my ass kicked, and winning a fight or two time to time, kills time so efficiency.
RE6: Despite it’s bad rep, it’s a really good game for couch coop on a TV. The performance was great, and just really enjoyable when laughing at bugs & absurd writing with friends.
720p upscaled to 1080 looks really good, and is a nice balance for performance.
Some TV don’t play nice with the fps caps, try uncapping the framerate if you don’t mind some fps fluctuations.
Rock&Stone btw.
I can only speak for Wii emulation, it works great.
OLED deck have excellent Bluetooth compatibility with WiiMotes, I can hook up 4 of them using emulated bluetooth mode. (Can’t get passthru mode working tho)
Some configuration beforehand such as changing all four controller slots into “real WiiMote” & enable continues scanning is all you need to do.
Just a side note. Switching between handheld and docked mode is a dull process. In order to switch input source you have to go to desktop mode every time.
The Elden Ring one actually isn’t so rare. It feels more like a 10%. Every time I boot up the game I half expect it to crash.
Really cool! Love to see some modding. And wow, that full kit of IFixIt.
Dead By Daylight! This game is very comfortable at low wattage. 45Fps @7w all low. The deck basically turn DBD into bite sized excitements.
Witcher 3 is such a long experience. Currently on the Blood and Wine DLC. Picking it up, clearing a side quest or two and then put the console back to sleep is such a good way to kill time.
