I get what you’re saying, but no. The ruling is specifically “woman” means “biological female”, not “everything is a woman”.

No, it really isn’t. Neither is preferable. The reason why the American system seems incredibly bad right now is because everyone in the West is accustomed to the kind of liberty we’ve enjoyed for a long time. So when that changes we see the contrast around us very sharply.
But don’t kid yourself that China is better. In fact, the Chinese system is the direction that America is heading towards and starting to emulate.
People in China can’t even say a single negative word against Xi, and if they do it online whatever they post gets deleted within minutes and the person gets a knock at the door, often not being heard from ever again.
And that’s simply not the case in the US currently. Sure you get the news story about people being turned away at the border for having said something about Trump online, or getting locked up by ICE for a few months (that’s an insane reality, don’t get me wrong). But ultimately these people are the exception… for now.
At least the CCP value science and education.

Not a good argument. The ecological damage caused by monolithic damn projects is massive. While they are “renewable” once brought online, they aren’t a good overall option. Smaller damns that do not disrupt the natural flow of a body of water is the modern preferred method.
Feel free to look up which countries are leveling off carbon emissions ahead of commitments

Renewable energy is not just renewable electricity generation but applying it to more energy users. A Deisel bus is a dirty polluter that can’t use renewable energy, but a battery electric bus is a way to use renewable energy for transportation.
Sure, that’s a valid point. But it becomes entirely invalidated when you consider that most of that electrification comes from coal plants they’re building at breakneck pace. They’re averaging two entire coal power plants per week. That’s over 100 coal fired power plants per year. They are building more than ALL other countries combined.
Then there’s the consideration that your argument only applies to the very few places they can actually do that, like in major urban cities. Everywhere else in the country they still have to rely on ICE transport out of practicality.
And this also ignores that their renewable initiatives (outside of EVs) are giant shams.

What does “high speed rail” and “BEV buses” have to do with the discussion about renewable energy? Nothing. It’s just thrown in to say “China good, West bad”.

China added more coal power in 2023 than the rest of the world combined.
China invests so much into it
China is building two coal plants per week. And their “green” programs are just facades to take Western money.
At my last job we had a sales contact that lived in South Africa (he’s white). At one point a few years ago he dropped off the radar, and we finally heard from him about 6 months later. He had picked up his family and moved to England. Left most of their possessions, abandoned the house, etc. He said things were getting too lawless and felt they had to leave immediately.
I also have a friend who’s from South Africa (also white) who has most of her family back in South Africa, and the stories I hear are chilling. I don’t know this, but it seems like things have been going downhill fast for the past 5 or 6 years now (faster than before).
