There’s an old cartoon that sums up Trump in my mind. Man is being lead to the gallows. Dozens of cops are holding back the crowd that wants to tear him apart. “Oh, all right. I’ll apologize.”
No matter what happens to him, he’ll never admit that he did anything wrong.
Everyone thinks that the kompromat Putin has is something like Trump getting fisted or a golden shower party.
I like to think it’s Trump weeping about how his daddy never loved him, or something else that no one but a psychopath would be ashamed of.
Trump was correct. He was stabbed in the back by the ‘woke’ Deep State and the media. Biden and Harris destroyed America rather than let Trump lead us to greatness.

One thing you hear all the time from older folks. When they were young everyone in the area knew every kid. The people in the neighborhood would chat. These days, that’s rare. Kids grow up without the idea of having a social network in the real world.
If I’d had access to the internet growing up I’d have never left the house either.

One of my all time favorite political novels is ‘The Porkchoppers’ by Ross Thomas. It’s about a Union election in the Nixon Era. At one point one of the candidates holds a rally; to get more people to attend they hold a raffle. Surprise, the winner of the new boat is the cousin of one of the insiders.

I know a nurse who flies ten times a year. All her trips combined don’t add up to the fuel a private jet burns on one trip.
Moreover, she’d happliy use high speed rail if that were an option.
