Yes, the leader of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bundestag, Alice Weidel, doesn’t even live in Germany, but in Switzerland.
Yes, the leader of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bundestag, Alice Weidel, doesn’t even live in Germany, but in Switzerland.
However, the AfD pursues a largely neoliberal economic policy and will therefore not do anything for the socially disadvantaged or for East Germany. But this fact is effectively disguised by the constant slogans “Foreigners are taking jobs away from Germans” and similar nonsense.
In this respect too, the AfD is quite similar to the MAGA people and, strangely enough, both are especially popular with the socially disadvantaged who vote against their own interests.
It’s really unbelievable how stupid people are. I mean, if the inhuman ideology of these damn Nazis isn’t enough to put you off, then at least one look at the States should be enough to make you realize how incompetent and corrupt they are.
That’s true, but he will still need new buyers because his previous allies, whom he has alienated greatly, will very likely reduce their order volume considerably.
I think that this so-called statesman, with his petty power games, has once again overestimated himself on this issue - as with others issues but in the same stupid manner.
That doesn’t seem unlikely to me, since Trump has destroyed the basis of trust with his allies and is thus doing considerable damage to one of the few US industries that is still functioning well, namely the arms industry.
Perhaps he somehow thought that Europe would buy the weapons needed to equip itself because he has unilaterally terminated NATO protection from US companies. Maybe a few that you can’t get anywhere else, but the EU would be incredibly stupid to buy from a nation that is now hostile to it.
So other buyers will probably have to be found - although Russia has its own arms industry and is also on good terms with China. Moreover, unlike Trump, Putin really isn’t an idiot.
But hey, maybe the EU can negotiate a billion-euro arms deal with Russia to get better conditions for Ukraine.
It would hardly be any different from buying weapons from the US.
Never mind. Russia is calling the shots on their side anyway.
Yes, he probably just couldn’t cope with all this hypocrisy.
Every US citizen who wants to prevent the same thing from happening in the States should go and protest today. Find an event near you and show the fascists that they can expect resistance.
Best of luck from Europe.
Absolutely nothing - on the contrary, they even supply the weapons with which these shameful murders are committed.
And Trump and his band of criminals are not even alone in this - my home country, Germany, is also aiding and abetting these terrible war crimes.
I simply cannot understand how a country like Israel, which is actually completely irrelevant on the world stage, not only gets away with genocide, but is even supported by many of those countries that otherwise always play the moralizer.
The only way I can explain this is that the fascist regime in Israel is taking advantage of the fact that this country is a leader in surveillance and espionage technology. Other than by blackmailing foreign state representatives, I simply cannot explain why so many countries persist in supporting all these terrible atrocities - in democratic countries even against the will of the people and at the massive expense of votes.
I’m aware that this is conspiracy theory, but I simply can’t explain it any other way because it is so incredibly absurd and shameful.
I mean, Bibi has long been the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Courts.
It is of course quite clear that no government official in the USA is interested in this, but the fact that European countries, which recognize this intuition as binding, are also thinking about how Netanyahu could be invited as a state guest without having to arrest him immediately is simply telling. And then also supplying weapons to a war criminal?
How?
These pigs really do everything they can to distract from their criminal activities - with even more criminal activities.
Well, looks like the US says it’s OK to purchase a Von der Leyen from the EU…
Why give this guy shit? If he was just following orders, he wouldn’t have talked to CBS after the fact and you wouldn’t be reading this. It’s something, right?
Exactly, no shit.
In Switzerland, Amazon has (for most physical products) hardly been competitive since 2018 due to a VAT regulation, which is intended to protect the Swiss domestic economy against the size-related superiority and, above all, against the tax tricks of this juggernaut. Nevertheless, the world has not come to an end there - quite the opposite. There is actually some competition again in their e-commerce-market.
Yes, that is absolutely right. Active support for genocide is also a crime against humanity and must be prosecuted.
To finally do this at all levels is also absolutely in the interest of the voters, because the majority of them are of the opinion that Israel must of course be held accountable for all its terrible misdeeds. Despite all the one-sided reporting by the obviously partisan media, it is absolutely clear that Israel commits mass murder, completely disregards international law and constantly commits the worst war crimes. Yet these disgusting opportunists who are supposed to be our representatives simply disregard the will of the people - they must also be held personally accountable.
I am truly ashamed of the behavior of the German government. It is outrageous and simply inexplicable to me how almost all parties in Germany still cling to their unconditional support for the criminal regime in Israel.
It is simply absurd to even supply weapons to a government against some of whose highest representatives arrest warrants have long been issued by the International Criminal Court. Unlike the USA, which has never recognized this institution for obvious reasons, decisions of the International Criminal Court are binding for Germany. And yet: not a word of criticism of Israel, instead even active support for genocide. I can only explain this with massive corruption at the highest levels.
Germany’s historical responsibility is not to Israel, but to all persecuted groups. In this sense, it is precisely Germany’s responsibility to resolutely oppose Israel’s crimes. But no, our politicians continue to stand by the side of the most horrible monsters and even take the liberty of justifying this with the very historical responsibility they are mocking. It is disgusting.
As I said, as a German I am ashamed of Germany’s actions.
