Doesn’t matter that the government approved laws where they can literally just steal white peoples land/property with no compensation and no recourse. I have a friend who came here to my country 6 months or so ago from SA. He’s white. His best friends family were all murdered in a home invasion. Police didn’t care. His uncle was murdered on his farm and his farm was taken to government to black people. Police didn’t care, government just took the property.

I’ll tell him it didn’t happen, I’m sure that will make his uncle and best friend and his family jump out of a door and yell surprise! He’ll be so relieved!

I did. What these people did wasn’t just property damage being treated like violence - there was actual physical violence when they were being held, in the place that they were taking over mind you, until the police could get there. Then more violence when the police got there.

The one where the government officials are literally on video singing “kill all the white people”. The one where groups of black people are going around murdering while families and facing no repercussions because it’s what the government is telling them to do.

These people think that trespassing into the country is fine and not cause for deportation, so you’re not going to get an intelligent answer from them on this topic.

They refused to leave, so they were trespassing. They then became violent when they were made to stay until the police got there, and were violent towards the police.

They weren’t there to stop them from leaving, they were there to make them leave the right way - after being identified. The protesters didn’t like this though since they didn’t want to be held accountable for their actions, which is ironic because they want everyone else to be held accountable for things that weren’t even anything to do with their actions.

Ah yes, the CHOP zone arguing for zero police, that turned into a violent, crime riddled zone where the protesters eventually all left because, against all they believed in, without police crime runs rampant and they don’t like having their possessions destroyed/stolen, or being assaulted/killed.

It was a wonderful example of how dumb most protesters are and how they don’t even understand the consequences of what they’re protesting for.

Yes, once protests start breaking laws by damaging property and committing acts of violence, they’re no longer peaceful.

Not to mention that the protesters are the ones that turned violent when faced with the police attempting to identify and arrest them lol. It’s like they forget that it’s all being recorded by multiple people lol

The “violent police response” was in response to the protesters turning violent when they were locked in the building that they illegally took over. The police locked them in so they could identify and/or arrest every one of them as they came out, but the protesters didn’t want to be identified and held accountable for their actions, so they turned violent. That violence was met with resistance by the police, in the form of physical restraint.

It’s all on video btw. We can see that the protesters are the ones that first became violent.

We NEED a recession. We NEED deflation. We need to get out entire economy back under control, and the more immigrants we bring in the worse it’s going to get. The solution to the population being too poor to have bulk excess cash to spend isn’t to import more people to bring their money with them, increasing inflation and the cost of living and housing crises.

If we stop importing people the population growth stops so we don’t have to keep importing all these supposed invaluable doctors and cleaners. It could even encourage people here to take up those professions.

I want to stop all immigration now, temporarily, and then when it’s viable bring it back in a more controlled way - and yes, that would include things like how likely people are to actually integrate into our culture and way of life.

Not lately they haven’t. Not since Covid. But again - I’m not saying LNP are the immigration stopping saviours. Like everything else this election cycle, they had a slam dunk and they bricked it in regards to immigration.

Our country can’t sustain this level of population, as we’re seeing. Homelessness, out of control cost of living, out of control house prices, etc etc. We shouldn’t be thinking of the economy first and foremost, that’s what got us here in the first place - the desire to always show a nice GDP growth above all else, even when real wages have gone backwards and everything people need is getting further and further out of reach.

We need a “great reset” of almost everything, including the economy. There’s just no way back from the damage Covid caused and the way the governments fucked it up in the aftermath. Wages across the board need to increase about 40% - for everyone - just to get back to pre-covid affordability for basic cost of living. That’s not happening, inflation is still making prices rise, as is higher energy costs, so people are falling further and further behind.
