Love my deck. One thing I haven’t figures out is getting a gcc compiler. I would like to get pyenv working. Tried brew a while back. Couldn’t get it working. Kind of got side tracked gaming. Need to give it another shot.

With Decky LSFG-VK and Power Tools i get around 100 fps in cp2077 and 80 fps in BG3. I haven’t reached anywhere in BG3 that really taxes the graphics like the lower or inner city yet.
I’ve even been playing Starfield around 100 fps outside new atlantis. Graphics are choking everywhere my nv3080 was.

$3.50

CP2077 is a great game! Runs really well on the deck. But so is the Witcher 3 which also runs really well on the deck! Personally cp2077 would be the one I pick.
If you have a little extra money and want to tinker a bit, you can install Decky and the plugins Power Tools, Decky LSFG-VK from decky and Lossless Scaling from the steam store. Decky LSFG-VK needs Lossless Scaling to work and I think it is around 5 bucks. With the above installed you can get around 100 fps in both cp2077, The Witcher 3 and many other games. I haven’t found a game that these plugins dont work on and increase performance and playability albeit at the cost of battery drain.
I hope you many happy hours of gaming on your new deck. I really love mine!

Your welcome. Just reread my comment and it looks like I’m yelling at you… Not my intention. Thought it would be easier to find if I wrote it like it is displayed in the settings.

Pretty sure its the settings under System -> STEAMOS CRASH REPORT. There are 7 opt in toggles for different crash reports.

Make sure you follow the install instructions. You have to download the Decky-lsfg-vk.zip file and install it using decky developer options. Also have to have Lossless Scaling from steam installed. I could not get Lossless Scaling to run at all no matter what version of proton I tried. So i disabled proton compatibility altogether for Lossless Scaling. I think it just needs to be there.
I had other steam Launch Options and I couldnt get get it to work until I put the ~/lsfg right before %command%.
I also uninstalled Decky LSFG-VK with the very bottom button and reinstalled and both Lossless Scaling Installed and lsfg-vk installed turned green with a checkmark.
I also disabled every toggle and set the plugin to 2X.
Then it worked. So far the only toggle I have enabled is Performance Mode and Flow Scale is at 80%.
Hope that helps.

Just tried it out and am getting 80fps in cp2077 using the 2X option. Now if I could figure out a fix for the audio cracking.
Edit: I think I just figured out the audio crackling. I remember having to do it with Bethesda games. PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90.

Or maybe Theremin Conquerer?
Ill have to check out podman and look into distrobox. It’s defiantly an option. Never used distrobox pr podman before. So used to the power of Arch, never even had to think about the software I want to use not being able to be installed in five years.
