I do hope they focus a bit on the UI going forward - we’ve noticed a lot of silly little bugs while either using the Steam Deck controls or a controller.

Yea, I’d try and alternative dock and maybe see if there’s something with the display settings - I have no issues using a simple USB adapter and some Xbox controllers.

I know the PS controllers can be finicky, as well as CEC causing problems - might need to see if those are some of the root causes by disabling/changing.

Have you tried manually setting the user agent to Desktop Windows as a workaround?

I will say that the Steam Deck is well crafted - if all the games you’d like to play are compatible with the specs, I’d just recommend it based on all the previous support it’s received.

Hopefully getting some OEMs on board (that want SteamOS on their handhelds) makes it easier to maintain - I’m sure that’s what they’re kind of hoping for before releasing a general release.
