Is there any possible evidence that would falsify the claim that he’s dead?

It sounds a lot like other conspiracy theories where people assume a fact and then evidence comes out that contradict that assumption and they come up with all sorts of explanations to avoid changing their mind and insisting that they were right all along. Even if Van Hollen returned with fingerprints and DNA, maybe he’s in on it too.

Even if they’re carrying out mass executions, it’s not hard to believe that they simply didn’t get to this guy yet. Maybe his name started to get publicity and they made sure to keep him alive. Those seem a lot more reasonable than this “body double” stuff.

I mean you can believe whatever you want but that’s verging into conspiracy theory stuff if you ask me.

He’s confirmed alive, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t killed others, or that they won’t reach that point as time goes on. The Nazis didn’t start mass executions right away, but once you were in their camps, you probably weren’t getting out alive.

The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems countries will slip through your fingers. Every year, more and more middle income countries that were unaligned are buddying up with China and the ones that were buddying up with the US are playing the field. China is keenly attentive to this global battle over hearts and minds while Americans are too preoccupied to even notice, and don’t care when they do.

It’s becoming more and more clear that all these conflicting announcements are to allow Trump and his cronies to profit off insider trading. Kind of insane how blatant it is, short the market, announce tariffs, sell the short, pause the tariffs (except for China), buy tech stock, announce tech will be exempt, they gotta be making crazy bank.

It’s pretty much in line with the “Lizardman Constant,” named after a poll that 4% of Americans think the world is run by lizard people. You can ask anything in a poll and you’ll pretty much always get around 4% trolling or whatever.

America has already been sold out. Almost every year, no matter who’s in charge, the military gets bigger while everything else gets cut. The only people who benefit from it are military contractors and politicians. Of all the many wars since WWII, not one of them has actually benefitted ordinary people, and a lot of them have made the lives of ordinary people much worse for no reason. But because it’s what the rich want, there’s complete bipartisan support for it. People are struggling more and more every day to access education, healthcare, even basic necessities, while even our infrastructure is falling apart, but we have an endless supply of bombs and weapons, spending more on that than the next 9 countries combined.

If you actually care about US security, you should support cutting the military in favor of domestic spending, because at this point, who’s going to stick their neck out to protect such a dysfunctional system? But no, even the supposedly “left-leaning” party is fully on board with militarism and jingoism while the core rots. To the point of attacking conservatives from the right over it!

As I say in my other comment in this thread, Trump isn’t actually going to cut the military, he increased military spending in his first term and will most likely do so again. However, because of insane liberals who somehow still believe in “benevolent interventionism” even after Iraq and Afghanistan, Trump is able to triangulate and pick up antiwar, libertarian types who can’t see through his act. Liberals do everything in their power to help him by openly supporting militarism and denouncing anyone who opposes it as a “Russian bot” (or similar), regardless of their reasons.

The bizarre thing is how someone can square the circle of angrily opposing military cuts while not recognizing that they’re a right-winger.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Military spending increased in his first term and talk is cheap.

If he actually followed through on cutting the military budget by half, it’d be an incredible move and I’d start considering him the lesser evil. But it’s all for show, it’s triangulation to appeal to certain groups. End of the day, he’s a right winger and right wingers won’t cut the military.

Completely removing any credibility from the narrative that you like Nazis by checks notes voting against condemning Nazis.

Is that also the US’s justification for voting against this resolution every time it comes up, before or since?
