According to .ml, anyone even slightly right of outright communism should be considered fascist. .ml is one of the more extreme hard left instances, so comments from the instance should be taken with that in mind. It is very heavily censored, so their users only ever see the “China and Russia did nothing wrong” type of rhetoric.

.world has issues, for sure. It’s the largest instance, and that comes with its own issues. But it’s definitely not fascist.

My current tinfoil-hat conspiracy theory is that’s exactly what they’re banking on. They’ll draw the trial out until right before the midterm election… Then Trump will use the resulting riots to declare martial law and cancel the upcoming midterms, so he doesn’t lose control of congress. After he has cancelled the election, he’ll make a final push to clean house, and will start ousting liberal congress members by accusing them of being riot conspirators.

It will only take two years if people actually fucking vote in the midterms. But midterm turnout is historically… Well… Complete dogshit. And republicans are statistically more likely to vote in midterms.

That’s why Trump is moving so fast to try and secure things; He doesn’t truly have four years to cement himself as god-emperor. He only has two before he potentially loses his majority in congress. So he has to be crowned before then.

But even with that being said, I don’t have high hopes. As I said before, republicans are more likely to vote in midterms. Maybe Trump’s antics will be enough to get some blue voters off of their asses. But at this point, I’m not holding my breath.

Yeah, same happens with kidnapping and murder victims. There’s a reason it’s called Missing White Woman Syndrome. The media is extremely biased towards covering attractive young white women who have gone missing, while virtually every other demographic gets ignored. Asian and Latina women are often covered disproportionately as well, but not to the extent that missing white women are covered. Black women get almost no coverage, and the same goes for men of basically every race and age.

I hate to admit this, but I bet “that congressperson who gave her affair partner a sloppy handy at a children’s show” would also have worked.

For reference, she and a man (not her husband, but a man she was there with) were kicked out of a local production of the stage musical “Beetlejuice”. Which is honestly a pretty good argument for just installing every single emulator (even if you never think you’ll use them!) because they don’t really take up that much space, and you could potentially lose access to them if you never bothered before a takedown.

Now we just need a way to use that shelf with the same account so I don’t get booted from my steam deck games just because I left something running on my PC and vice versa.

AFAIK, this is also a licensing issue. When Steam was launching, game publishers were concerned that people would simply share an account. So part of Steam’s licensing agreement is that the same account can’t have games (even different games) running on two machines at the same time. It’s specifically to prevent account sharing, because people would just share an account with their friends; Booting them out of their game every time their buddy boots something up is a pretty effective countermeasure.

The “same game at the same time” part is a licensing issue. It won’t ever be “solved” because it would get Steam into legal trouble to do so, just like the Internet Archive recently FAFO’ed. In order for two people to play the same game at the same time, you need to own two licenses for said game.

But it does solve the issue of multiple people using the same library at the same time. Now your family members don’t get booted off of Skyrim just because you launched Persona. It basically combines your libraries, so any of you can choose any of the listed games to play at any time. Just like having a physical shelf full of CD cases.

There are already torrents of the complete Yuzu build (including dependencies) available. It includes everything you need for both Windows and Linux.

The project may be dead, but the files aren’t gone. Nintendo is trying to delete something from the internet, and we all know how well that works.

They had a Patreon where you could get early access to the dev builds. It exploded in popularity when Tears of the Kingdom leaked like two weeks early. Because TOTK ran like ass on the stable build, but the early dev builds started patching in support for the game as soon as the leak happened. And since everybody wanted to play the game early, they all joined the Patreon.

That early support was ironically a large part of what got them sued. Because they were tacitly endorsing piracy; They were blatantly working on fixes for a game that was only available due to a stolen game cartridge and widespread piracy. They couldn’t go “well we don’t support piracy,” because their actions proved otherwise.
