These journalists need to make sure they don’t end up in El Salvador or any of their allies, or they run a greater than zero chance of getting the Jamal Khashoggi treatment.
Also moving all our e-waste from US shores to elsewhere doesn’t make it go away, we are just “hiding” the issue so as not to affect capitalism. In the end when we have no clean water to drink it’ll be too late to “start doing something”.

When it comes to lead, there is no “safe” level of lead in ones body. I think the reason the FDA has a limit is because we know it’s everywhere, so having a standard limit lower than where the average person may begin to see noticeable side-effects is important. Although, as everyone’s body chemistry varies, what is “safe/tolerable” for one individual may not be for another.
Lead is also one of those things that from research I have read affects children to the greatest degree while their little brains are growing. In children it can cause things like aggression, learning disabilities, and slow growth and development amongst other things.
Also this is only one source of lead children (or any of us) may be absorbing, which would make you wonder about a compounding affect when looked at in aggregate. We know it’s in a LOT of chocolate, spices (cinnamon being the current one doing kids in), toys, and environmental things like paint in places like old homes and schools (read a story not long ago about a kid they figured out was being poisoned from lead paint dust on a windowsill at school).
I think it’s probably more like they know that a destabilized government makes taking complete control easier. He has Musk and company dismantling all the checks/balances, and his economic yo-yo is working on crippling the masses financially, which in the end means less resistance when he moves against the courts with force instead of social media.
Yeah I personally know 2 people that had COVID but died of pneumonia, not COVID. It’s like we learned nothing.

I mean we did this already, Trump told people that COVID could be treated with UV lights and drinking bleach. Then told his cult it wasn’t real, it was going away really fast, and if we stop testing it’ll basically disappear over night.
Love that as soon as his name got attached to Epstein, that he’s shifted to damage control and trying to push this narrative that it’s been a “radical Left” issue this whole time. And trying to get all his conspiracy people to move on to an election that at this point doesn’t matter either way is just full panic.
They filled lawsuits all over the country that they had to withdraw because they had no evidence, yet continue to claim to be ready to release all the “evidence” they have anytime now for years. I think even his Supreme Court is going to find it hard to invent constitution law to back up their conspiracy theories. I would love to see them try though, make it televised, since they are just pissing away tax dollars anyway.
