Because there are more established tools whose devs/communities use Reddit compared to the Fediverse, maybe…?

Good.

If you remote play from the laptop that you have now the performance will be better than playing directly from the deck, but the noise can be in another room. And since the deck isn’t doing much compute, battery life should be great too. And you can stream at the Deck’s native resolution so your fps will be higher than your laptop’s display (assuming that is full hd)

Yes, every Dutch person is directly, personally, and fully responsible for not preventing this.

Ah, so Russia wants to create rifts between Eastern and Western Europe, got it!
No, I think you mean 50 megabits per second. I’d consider 100mbit (megabits) average, 50 000 megabits, which is equal to 50 gigabits (or ⅛th of 50 000 megabytes) would be ludicrously unnecessarily much for a residential connection today, and it’d be hard to find hardware to support it.
Just for reference:
Modern DDR5 Random Access Memory can be bought for 8000 mega transfers per second, which is pretty high end. According to wikipedia, this is roughly 64 gigabytes per second.
PCIe 4 SSDs can reach up to 7GB/s or 56 gigabit/s of data transfer speeds. PCIe 5 drives cap out at roughly 16GB/s or about 128gb/s.
I don’t think your internet would be quite that fast, or at least you wouldn’t be complaining about it 😅
The confusion/sarcasm is because you say 50k mbit --> 50 000 mbit --> 50 gbit.

Stadia my beloved :')

It’s why I really don’t mind the longer times between GPU generations. Phones should do the same, to be honest. It’s not like there are major performance uplifts anually, and the amount of e-waste reduction there’d be would be huge.

Hmm fair, I just woke up when I commented haha. Technically I’m right though :p
Anyways I don’t see a reason why running this on another arch based distro wouldn’t work.

That’s what the title says, yeah.

Doesn’t seem to have changed anything. Could be an issue with Sync, which was originally designed for Reddit which limited pins per subreddit to 2.

Weird, I can see the post with votes, comments and everything. But it doesn’t show up in the pinned posts on the community. Thanks for the link, I’ll share with a friend who just got one for her birthday :)

Wait, which pinned post? I only see one about games we’ve been playing and one about refurb oled models.

Okay Ryan George
You can go to the desktop mode and install the GOG launcher. Then after installing your games, open Steam and add the games as non-Steam games. They’ll show up in game mode as well.
The Heroic Launcher can add your games from GOG, EGS, and some others iirc to Steam automatically. I believe there are other, supposedly better options too, but I can’t remember the name(s) right now. Also don’t remember what (if anything) was wrong with Heroic.

FSR1 doesn’t have frame gen though, which is what the commenter wishes for.
Does that go for the Frame as well? I’ve only seen this confirmed for the Steam Machine. But I could’ve just missed it.
